Bailey Bridge named after Mr. Donald Bailey, a civil servant in the British War Office, was built by the British authorities through the 40s to connect the two banks of the city of Hilla and thus becoming the third bridge to be built in the city. The bridge is still in duty and it is regarded as one of the vital bridges that connect the Large and Small sides of Hilla city.

I want to make some more reportage on important historical, architectural and cultural landmarks in my home town Hilla!

Are you ready??
